Ways to Support Us

Superheroes Believe in Miracles is a 501c3 non profit.  We send out superhero masks and birthday packages to children and teens battling ANY type of illness.  Once the child is on our list they remain on it until they are 19 or we are otherwise notified. We currently send out approximately 180 birthday packages each month!!  We send all over the United States. These children are the REAL LIFE superheroes in this world!!

With the amount that we send out, there is a significant cost in postage.  Just in postage alone, we spend about $700 each month!! That is not including the items we buy for the birthday packages ,the envelopes, the cards, etc.

In order to continue our mission, we rely on various things to raise money-

• We have an auction site on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1703545623224421/).  We try to have an item up for auction daily.  We receive all types of donations and will auction them off for a starting bid of half of the retail price.  We have some AWESOME items donated!!

  Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Superheroes Believe in Miracles. The Superheroes Believe in Miracles will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Superheroes Believe in Miracles.

  No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

  The Superheroes Believe in Miracles will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

  The Superheroes Believe in Miracles will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Superheroes Believe in Miracles.

  Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Superheroes Believe in Miracles.

  The Superheroes Believe in Miracles will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Superheroes Believe in Miracles.

  The Superheroes Believe in Miracles will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Superheroes Believe in Miracles will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

  The Superheroes Believe in Miracles will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Superheroes Believe in Miracles.

•   We have various fundraisers during the year:
  • Every March we have our annual Purse Bash which gets bigger and better each year.  Mark your calendars because next year it will be on March 10, 2019!! For updates join group – https://www.facebook.com/groups/122522108456133/
  • On July 21st we will be having our second Kids Charity Rock Concert.  It will be at the Quality Inn in New Ken. We have 6 AWESOME bands playing- BlackRidge, Heidi and the Hellcats, 2kd, Ezekiel, Driven and After the Fall.  For updates join group – https://www.facebook.com/groups/1899423280337516/
  • On October 21st we will be having a Bowling Fundraiser from 1pm-4pm at Wildlife Lodge Lanes!!  More info to come!!
  • We have a monthly “Make Night” in which we make the cards and birthday packages to send out.  It is usually the last Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) and is at the King’s in Sarver.  If you have a group (including scouts, school groups, mom groups, church groups, etc) that would like to help out contact Amy.
